NEWPORT 18th
This charming apartment building was presented to Clerel Construction as a vintage product that had not been renovated since the original completion by the developer. The building was a well kept throwback to the 1970’s at it’s finest. Our team had to come up with a color palette for paint that would brighten the feel and attract the clientele that wanted a trendy modernized version of what the 70’s were known for, a California cool vibe. The interior of the apartment units had original pink and blue and tiles and honey colored wood tones. We painted the cabinets grey and covered the tiles in clean white. We added flooring, modern sputnik lighting, matte black knobs, and new entry doors. The landscape was improved upon and ground lighting was added to create a relaxing mood at night. Laundry rooms are important and with a property of this size, we succeeded with beautiful tiles laid in a hexagon format. Our design included turning an old bathroom used for maintenance in to a management office, we did that with printed black and white tile flooring, California surf pictures and modern lighting.
